Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to design and strengthen the security framework protecting OneAsia’s infrastructure while also securing high-impact customer projects, such as Hong Kong’s largest AI supercomputing environment. This role combines hands-on cybersecurity expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, offering the chance to safeguard cutting-edge systems, collaborate with industry pioneers, and drive security innovation for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and enhance cybersecurity systems to protect OneAsia’s infrastructure, cloud services, and data center operations.

• Secure customer projects, including the largest AI supercomputing initiative in Hong Kong, ensuring robust protection for advanced computing environments.

• Conduct security assessments for internal systems and customer deployments, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and industry standards.

• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, leveraging threat intelligence to mitigate risks across OneAsia and client ecosystems.

• Develop and maintain security policies, guidelines, and standards tailored to both internal operations and customer-specific requirements.

• Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and external clients to resolve security challenges and deliver tailored solutions for customer projects.

• Manage access control systems, perform log analysis, and proactively address anomalies in both internal and customer-facing environments.

• Lead security awareness initiatives and training programs for OneAsia staff and customer teams.

• Provide expert cybersecurity consultancy to clients, aligning their systems—such as AI supercomputing platforms—with best practices and compliance needs.

• Stay ahead of evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to maintain a proactive security posture across all projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related discipline.

• Strong technical proficiency in:

  • Access control mechanisms, incident response, and security monitoring tools.

  • Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and related security technologies.

• Proven ability to work on complex, customer-facing projects with a focus on security implementation and support.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, adept at engaging internal teams, vendors, and external clients.

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

• Network security certifications (e.g., Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco) are advantageous.

• Experience with securing cloud environments, data centers, or AI/high-performance computing systems is a plus but not required.
