Roles and Responsibilities
Follow through the entire merchandising process from sourcing products, preparing quotation and samples, price negotiation, products presentation, order handling until on-time delivery.
Closely monitor the testing & inspection status and follow up on the relevant reports
Ensure that vendors are in compliance with all customs regulations, consumer standards and the Company’s standard operating procedures.
Act as a communication bridge between vendors, buyers and supporting departments to ensure proper and timely information exchange.
Follow up on all aspects of customers, production processes, quality and shipment schedules and related matters
Handle ad hoc assignments
Job Requirements
Certificate / Diploma or above in Merchandising or related discipline
Minimum of 4 years of merchandising and sourcing experience of footwear
Good understanding of footwear production process, planning and quality standards
Familiar with US customers’ requirements
Work closely with development and technical departments to ensure all requirements are met
Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Well-organized, energetic, detail-oriented with good interpersonal skills
Familiar with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Chinese and English typing
Travel to China if needed
Immediate available is highly preferred
