Responsibilities:

• Take up the role as Responsible Officer to supervise the regulated activities (Type 4) as defined under SFC
• Manage day-to-day operation of the Research Department;
• Carry out market, sector and company research as well as providing investment recommendations;
• Provide concise and quality company, industry and economy analyses, valuation and commentaries;
• Arrange and hold investment seminars for training and investment purposes, travelling for site visits and other marketing & training activities are expected;
• To provide research support in inter-departmental projects with Private Wealth, ECM and Corporate Finance Department;
• Handle ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements: 

• Degree holder in Finance or related disciplines
• Holder of SFC RO license RA4 and at least 10 years or above of Equity research experience
• Strong at building financial model on public/private companies
• Analytical and detail-oriented with good communication skills
• Excellent command in spoken and written Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Occasional travel to China is required
