Our client, a prestigious global investment manager with a prominent regional footprint, is seeking an experienced Cloud Delivery Manager to provide governance and oversight on enterprise-wide investment technology programs. This role initially starts as a 1-year contract position with strong potential for renewal or transition to a permanent post. This individual will play a crucial role as the bridge between regional delivery teams and onshore senior stakeholders, with a specific focus on data integration and reporting applications within the cloud environment.

As a Cloud Delivery Manager , you will be responsible for the following:

• Act as the subject matter expert for data and reporting applications, providing oversight on project delivery across multiple investment-related systems.

• Drive end-to-end delivery of enterprise solutions, particularly related to data warehousing, reporting, and middleware interfaces

• Collaborate closely with offshore delivery teams and service providers to ensure on-time and on-budget execution aligned with strategic goals.

• Facilitate stakeholder communication by acting as the primary liaison between senior management, technical teams, and vendors.

• Oversee adherence to group-wide architecture and security policies, and manage associated reviews.

• Maintain governance reporting, proactively identifying issues, risks, and remediation measures.

• Guide technical teams and ensure that project artifacts, timelines, and deliverables meet internal quality standards.

• Coordinate with global teams on change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and procedures.

To be considered for this role as a Cloud Delivery Manager , you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in program or delivery management roles within financial services, with a solid background in data and cloud technologies.

• Demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud environment and technologies related to data warehousing, data modeling, and enterprise integration.

• Understanding of tools like Power BI, Databricks, Snowflake, Alteryx, and scripting languages such as Python, R, JSON, or VB is advantageous.

• Proficiency in delivery methodologies and governance frameworks (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).

• Strong business acumen with prior exposure to investment/asset management operations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.

• Fluency in spoken and written English is essential; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus given offshore collaboration.

• Ability to mentor and guide technical resources, including developers, architects, and service vendors.
