Wine Services & Dining Services Provision per Michelin Restaurant

8 Rest Days per Month I Sunday off ( except on festive dates) I 12 Annual Leaves
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Sommelier in the daily wine services and dining operations of the restaurant
Make recommendations to guests on appropriate wine choices on food and wine pairings
Build positive rapport with guests
Constantly review guest feedback and mystery shopper results, in order to plan and implement corrective action if needed, to ensure complete guest satisfaction
Assist in controlling and monitoring wine orders and stock at par level
Drive beverage revenue in the outlet and maintain beverage costs within budget
Review and analyze sales to ensure stock rotation and profitability remains within targets
Qualifications & Experience Required
To attain this position, you must have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar luxury, high-end work environment as Assistant Sommelier / Junior Sommelier
Ideally you will have extensive wine and beverage knowledge
Good command of English & Chinese (i.e. Cantonese & Mandarin)
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Sommelier
