Job Roles and Responsibilities
 

• Plan, distribute & prioritize the modernization works to the responsible project team(s) in accordance with business and company procedures / requirements
• Supervise & control the tasks of modernization projects
• Manage teams of Engineers, Supervisors. Technicians and Subcontracted staff
• Supervise the execution of works, materials, assemblies and documentation
• Coordinate and communicate with the Technical Specialist and other parties in Service department on related issues
• Ensure financial & performance targets of the projects are achieved
• Carry out resources planning / deployment & take required actions whenever necessary for projects operation efficiency
• Act as one of the key personnel implementing Schindler Employee Safety and Health Fundamentals & ensure all subordinates & subcontractors receive proper training and comply with applicable safety laws / regulations and company safety standards
• Apply application engineering to any installation related to 3rd parties equipment and carry out machine calculation to ensure correct equipment is adopted

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Building Services
• Registered Lift and Escalator Engineer qualifications will be an asset
• Substantial and solid experience in project management in Lift and Escalator industrial environment, with leading capacity as Project Manager
• Strong planning, problem solving skills, with good execution and customer orientation
• Achievement oriented and drive for results
• Good communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of English and Chinese
