Responsibilities :

• Oversee the maintenance and management of IP data networks, including follow-up on backbone network engineering tasks.
• Coordinate efforts to optimize IP data networks and enhance network management systems.
• Establish and implement network maintenance standards and processes, along with quality metrics and assessment methods.
• Manage and approve significant network adjustments.
• Work with the Cloud Network Operations team to configure international backbone network equipment and resolve upgrade challenges during circuit testing.
• Provide technical support to internal network teams, key clients, and major projects.
• Investigate and track emerging technologies, ensuring thorough verification, testing, and promotion of current network systems.
• Lead special projects within the department and handle additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements : 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in carrier-level network implementation or maintenance.
• Strong understanding of network principles, routing and switching technologies, and security protocols.
• Proficient knowledge of protocols such as BGP, ISIS, and MPLS.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve problems independently.
• Capable of working effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua.
