Job Description:

We are currently seeking Safety Officers at all levels to join our main contractor team. We have openings for Junior, Mid-level, and Senior Safety Officers, providing opportunities for candidates at different stages of their safety career.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on construction sites.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide safety training and orientations to construction workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop safety plans and risk assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make recommendations for improvements.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections of equipment and tools.

Qualifications:

Safety Supervisor:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in safety, preferably in the construction industry.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices and regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Mid-level Safety Officer / Registered Safety Officer:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-7 years of experience in safety, with construction industry experience.
• In-depth understanding of construction site safety practices and regulations.
• Experience in conducting safety inspections and investigations.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Senior Safety Officer:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in safety, with significant construction industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of construction site safety practices, regulations, and standards.
• Registered Safety officer is a must.
• Ability to lead and mentor a safety team.
