Job Description:

As the Construction Director, you will be responsible for leading the construction team, managing project schedules, budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Your expertise in commercial and shopping mall fit-out and renovation projects will be pivotal in driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all construction activities for commercial and shopping mall fit-out and renovation projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, site supervisors, and construction staff.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project feasibility.
• Monitor project progress, conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the construction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on commercial and shopping mall fit-out and renovation projects in Hong Kong preferably on client side.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in Hong Kong.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English is a must.
