Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Safety Manager to join our team for upcoming projects in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Safety Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety management systems and protocols for E&M projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with contractors and project teams to promote a culture of safety and ensure best practices are followed.
• Provide training and support to staff and contractors on safety procedures and emergency response plans.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in safety practices.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all necessary safety documentation is maintained.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management, specifically within E&M projects.
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry standards.
• Proven track record of working with contractors and managing safety on-site.
• Excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant safety certifications RSO is a must.
