You’ll need to have:

• Corporate membership/s with professional institutions such as MHKIE, MICE, MIStructE, MHKIS, MRICS, MHKIA, RIBA, MAPM, ChPP, CCM, and MCIOB.
• Minimum of 15 years relevant post-qualification experience.
  Relevant university degree (e.g. construction, engineering) or equivalent.
• Significant experience of effective PMO and project controls leadership on significant/landmark/mega construction projects.
• Significant experience of leading the effective deployment of robust PMO and project controls strategies/frameworks and integrated project controls methodologies.
• Expert knowledge of risk tools, techniques and software (e.g., MS office and Power BI, Aconex, Primavera P6 and RiskHive, @risk, Primavera Risk Analyser).
• Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty or ambiguity providing effective consultancy to clients and other key stakeholders to drive effective outcome/s.
• Strong business development skills and commercial awareness/acumen (e.g. cross selling Mace services into client organizations).
• Strong understanding of construction and related industry, trends, innovation and associated threats and opportunities.
• Deep domain knowledge of providing PMO and project controls leadership in collaboration with external bodies, professional institutions and peers.

You’ll also have:

• Experience of delivering a range of project services on major construction programmes or management consultancy.
• Chartered (or equivalent) membership of relevant professional institution(s) e.g. Association of Project Managers.
• Management Successful programmes/P3O/P3M3 accreditation.
• Engages with peers within professional bodies and other forum to maintain professional knowledge and work across industry to advance the profession.
• Manages upwards effectively and constructively challenges BUD.
• Leads others effectively, gives clear direction, coaches and supports others to reach their full potential.
• Mentors and develops the project team and others in the business; provides a safe work environment to learn and mature, sharing knowledge and experience.
• Adapts and reacts well to changing priorities and requirements (both business and project).
• Demonstrates a growth mindset and explores innovative approaches, in pursuit of a better way.
• Embraces new technology and helps others to adapt.
• Takes responsibility for their actions, leads by example and acts in an ethical, legal and responsible way.
• Understands personal strengths and weaknesses and introduces the right selection of skills and competencies to balance.
