Technical Writer (Networking background is a MUST)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, edit, and proofread a variety of documents, such as ITIL process, workflow, procedure, plan…etc.
  • Work with customer to collect document requirement and access into network component to collect customer needs (like screen capture)
  • Work with internal party to collect different difficulty, try best to smoothen the issue
  • Able to draw a collaboration catalogue to interpretate the “operation” in a network cloud (aka operation manual)
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and insights for document creation.
  • Ensure all documents adhere to company standards and guidelines for style, format, and tone.
  • Organize and maintain document repositories and version control systems.
  • Review and update existing documents as needed to reflect changes in information or requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of documents.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and incorporate revisions into documents.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in document writing and editing.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in networking, computing or coding, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Document Writer, Technical support , or similar role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document editing software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Familiarity with document version control systems and best practices.
  • Knowledge of technical writing principles and document formatting in “operation phase”
