This position is responsible for non-mainland China buying work in a timely and professional manner. This position is also responsible for assisting in monitoring sales performance, and inventory levels and providing analysis as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Buying:
Responsible for buying campaign on order selection following company guidelines and direction.
Responsible for weekly headquarter warehouse stock replenishment.
Follow up weekly delivery and reorder situation to ensure appropriate levels of stock. Provide inventory team indication for specific products in terms of allocations and stock consolidation when necessary.
Responsible for planning new store opening assortment.
Reports:
Prepare buying report before buying.
Prepare weekly merchandising KPI report and seasonal analysis when end of season.
Update delivery status on weekly basis.
Conduct market research and prepare seasonal report on competitive information, market trend and pricing strategy.
Collecting quality feedback and provide headquarter necessary report when needed.
Training & others:
Prepare seasonal assortment book and catalogs after the buying.
Co-operate with training team to deliver necessary training materials to stores.
Assist and perform ad hoc projects when needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years buying experience in retail fashion industry.
Buying experience in Non Mainland China is a must.
Detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting skill.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoints.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
Experience in Ready-To-Wear is preferred.
