Market Development Manager, APAC – Medical Device (Hong Kong-based)
Our client, a renowned MNC medical device company, is seeking passionate and experienced professionals with strong business acumen to support their business expansion in the APAC region.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Oversee pre-market development, new product launches, and full commercialization across the APAC region, with a particular focus on Hong Kong.
Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, hospital executives, and leaders of specialty-specific societies to introduce the product portfolio across the APAC region.
Analyze patient journeys from diagnosis to treatment to identify areas for improvement.
Transform market and business intelligence into actionable strategies by leveraging clinical and economic data to drive the adoption of new technologies and develop effective sales and marketing plans for new product launches.
Lead, plan, and execute marketing and business development initiatives to achieve sales targets, maximize market share, and meet marketing goals within assigned territories.
Strategize and execute new product launch activities targeted at specific doctors and business partners.
Collaborate closely and maintain regular communication with regional and global commercial leadership teams to ensure alignment and cooperation.
Identify potential business opportunities to drive sustainable company growth.
Undertake additional responsibilities as required to align with company objectives.
Travel frequently across the APAC region and internationally as required.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
Bachelor’s degree in Science related disciplines
8+ years of sales and marketing experience in the medical device industry, preferably with expertise in capital equipment, imaging equipment, or heart-lung disease areas
With regional exposure and Familiarity with the Asia-Pacific market and business environments would be an advantage
Open to candidates based in Hong Kong or Singapore, who are willing to be based in Hong Kong, possess strong business acumen, and are open to frequent travel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across cultures and cross-functional teams.
Objective-oriented, self-motivated, passionate, dynamic, and independent
Proficient in MS office applications, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
