Responsibilities

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Designing and producing promotional materials for the School and the Research Institute for Bilingual Learning and Teaching, such as poster and webpage design, video recording;
  • Updating webpages related to programmes and research activities;
  • Providing administrative support for research tasks, including database maintenance and record-keeping;
  • Supporting the coordination of research-related meetings, workshops, conferences, and events organized by the School and the Research Institute for Bilingual Learning and Teaching; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.

Candidates

Candidates Should Possess The Following Qualifications, Experience And Competence

  • Possession of a recognized bachelor's degree. Candidates with lower qualifications will be considered for the role of Technical Assistant;
  • Proficiency in Graphic and Webpage Design, with previous experience in these areas being advantageous;
  • Competency in computer skills, including proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, Chinese word processing, and graphic design software;
  • Strong command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated effective organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks;
  • Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and motivation, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team;
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in general administration, marketing, and support services within educational environments.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract commencing as soon as possible. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
