The Head, Marketing, Consumer Financial Services (CFS), is responsible for maintaining the Bank's marketing strategy that drives the business strategy, brand promise and strategic intent of CFS, OCBC Bank Hong Kong.
This individual takes primary ownership of driving the marketing agenda and ensuring delivery of the best communication channels to represent CFS to the intended audience. In addition, this individual will partner closely with peers to drive growth and product go-to-market objectives, while improving customer experiences, in a safe, secure, and responsible manner.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategy
Engage key stakeholders to develop and implement an end-to-end Marketing, and Growth strategy.
Provide thought leadership and influence country and region's business strategy with the effective and innovative marketing tools & channels.
Develop marketing strategies to enhance customer revenue potential via customer acquisition and improve utilisation of current service provisions via customer retention and active usage.
Play pivotal role in marketing investment decisions and authorisations.
Ensure that the overall brand’s tone of voice, messaging, and behaviours are aligned with the corporate narrative when we engage and communicate internally and externally.
Business
Ensure adequate capacity plan is in place to meet business growth and required marketing efforts.
Lead the team to formulate marketing and product campaigns using research and analytics, and leveraging omnichannel thinking and executions.
Work with relevant stakeholders to enhance customer experience and enhance revenue potential through cost-effective tactics and innovation.
Manage Marketing productivity & track performances, headcount and cost according to annual budgets
Be accountable for all Marketing services supported by internal and external service providers.
People
Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values.
Employ, engage and retain high quality (skill and experienced) people to deliver its obligations.
Partner with People Team and create robust development program for the Marketing team in line with the evolving digital banking and martech landscapes.
Create a motivational and challenging environment for staff which is conducive to creativity and performance with customer centricity in mind.
Risk and Governance
A high consciousness of risk and governance and has demonstrated ability to embed this culture in teams
Requirements:
Degree holder with major in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications or related discipline
Minimum 20 years of integrated country and regional marketing experience. At least 10 years of proven track record in leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
Good command of MS Office and computer skills
Solid understanding of the marketing landscape and demonstrated ability to adapt digital marketing tactics in response to technology developments as they arise.
Commercially driven with a strong understanding of consumer financial business
Dynamic and strong communicator with the ability to influence cross functional business units.
Strong growth mindset, proactive, results-oriented and able to manage in a highly matrixed organization.
