About The Job
This role is focused on high-level strategy, global oversight, and coordination of retail operations, including both our own stores and third-party resellers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail management at a global level, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead a diverse, international team.
About The Role - Strategic Leadership and Global Oversight:
- Develop and implement a global retail strategy that aligns with LOJEL’s business objectives.
- Oversee the overall performance of retail operations, ensuring consistency with brand standards and financial goals
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Collaborate with the Finance Department and regional GMs to create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for global retail operations.
- Provide high-level analysis of retail sales performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Global Retail Coordination:
- Coordinate with regional retail teams to ensure alignment with global strategies and standards.
- Facilitate communication and best practice sharing among regions to optimize overall retail performance.
- Customer Experience and Brand Alignment:
- Collaborate with Customer Success teams and oversee initiatives to enhance customer experience and satisfaction across all retail channels.
- Ensure global retail operations uphold and reflect LOJEL’s brand values and standards.
- Marketing and Promotional Strategies:
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales departments to develop and implement effective global retail marketing and promotional strategies.
- Oversee the development of an annual in-house promotion calendar and marketing collateral for global retail initiatives.
- Product and Merchandising Strategy:
- Guide the global merchandising strategy, including product assortment, presentation, and pricing in retail.
- Work closely with the Design and Visual Merchandising roles to ensure retail environments are engaging and aligned with brand standards.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the global retail management team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective training and development programs are in place for retail staff globally.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with key stakeholders within the company, including Finance, Marketing, Success, Key account management, and Product teams.
- Represent the retail division in executive meetings and strategic planning sessions.
- Apply and support related sustainability initiatives.
Your Core Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful global retail strategies.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and retail analytics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
- Proven track record in enhancing customer experience and driving retail innovation.
- Awareness and ability to apply ESG related initiatives.
- Prior experience in sustainability related projects or in sustainable companies is an advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with significant experience in global or multi-regional roles.
