Position Overview:
As a Business Controller at WORMS Safety, you will play a pivotal role in the global finance function, partnering closely with stakeholders to drive business performance planning and analysis. Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, you will lead the financial reporting process, develop strategic financial plans, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making across the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Manage the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Present business performance in various group governance meetings.
- Lead the Annual Budget, Forecasts, and Long-Range Financial Plans.
- Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
- Identify risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation actions.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support decision-making.
- Identify and implement KPIs to measure departmental performance.
- Manage the sales incentive program.
- Oversee the Financial Intelligence Tool.
Business Support & Project Management:
- Support business development through pricing & costing analysis, contributing to pricing strategies and identifying margin expansion opportunities.
- Develop a data strategy for Financial KPIs and SOPs.
- Lead Cost Control Initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the head of finance and executive leadership team to deliver reports, analysis findings, and forecast opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or Business Law.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in preparing consolidated monthly reporting/synthesis.
- Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Strong interest in supporting business development initiatives.
- Proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet regular and tight deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Dependable and autonomous with the ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Energetic and motivated personality with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages.
- Open to expatriate assignments.
