Position Overview

Are you an aspiring software engineer eager to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of blockchain-based solutions? We are seeking Software Engineer(s) to work alongside our experienced team of blockchain researchers, tackle real-world challenges, and play a vital role in the evolution of our decentralized applications.

Responsibilities

1. UTxO Smart Contract Research

• Research the protocol limitation in supporting DeFi application and analyze potential vulnerability from protocol level
• Research the optimal pattern in onchain smart contract in terms of blockchain execution units for maximizing dApps scalability
• Research and compare onchain code development process and potential limitations of different UTxO blockchains.

2. UTxO Offchain Computation Algorithm Research

• Research blockchain transaction information serialization, work with community to enable efficient offchain transaction building in backend code base like Rust and Golang.
• Research the performance in speed, of different ways of serialization and deserialization in both algorithm and code base level.

3. Layer-2 Blockchain Research

• Research on the integration risk and limitation with all layer-2 UTxO blockchain.
• Research on the cost, technical difficult, types of parameters in terms of building a layer-2 UTxO blockchain in both private and public setting

4. Frontend UTxO Blockchain Integration Research

• Research on web-assembly integration with cross platform frontend environment (website, android and iOS).
• Research on feasibility and security level on “prompt-less signing” in dApps, for optimizing user experience and speed of transaction processing.
• Research different existing open source libraries in the field, comparing pros and cons, figure out the necessary components for current DeFi dApp logic and plan for development from any forks from those open source projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a STEM degree, or related degree program.
• Experience in blockchain decentralized application research and development
• Passion for learning and a strong interest in blockchain technology and decentralized applications.
