Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of accounting processes and strong internal controls to ensure governance over accounting and reporting activities
• Prepare debit and credit notes to clients or customers for month-end and year-end closing
• Assist to record daily general ledger entries, support month-end and year-end closing activities, including attend stock take
• Prepare accounting schedules, details of accounts and other supporting documents for the purposes of accounts analyses and reconciliations
• Gather and compile basic financial information and support superior in preparing financial reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements, etc.) for presentation to senior management
• Provide administrative support to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the timeliness, accuracy and quality of billing, general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Respond to queries and requests for information by internal stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 4 years relevant experience in Finance / Accounting
• Can work under pressure and tight schedule
• Work independently with attention to details
• Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP accounting applications is an advantage
• Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills and good communication skill
• Proficient in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Fluency in Cantonese and ideally in English, both written and spoken
