The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong is currently hiring an Executive Sous Chef.
Job Summary
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage associates, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.
- Supervise food preparation activities and coordinate the kitchen team.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and recognition of achievements.
- Set and achieve culinary and financial goals, including managing budgets and staffing levels.
- Ensure compliance with culinary standards, food handling, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in menu development and maintain high-quality food presentation and flavor.
- Engage with guests for feedback to enhance service and empower associates to deliver excellent customer service.
- Conduct human resource activities, including coaching, mentoring, and managing disciplinary procedures.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
- Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and motivate a team.
