PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Responsible for delivering stock availability of assigned categories or vendors, demand and supply as well business targets. Including managing the vendor relationships.
Drive continuous process improvement with area of responsibility and work cross-departmentally to deliver added value to the department and the company.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guarantee the full availability of goods ensuring that the inventory is balanced and aligned with targets: Quantity, Quality and Stock Financing according to the Global & Regional Supply Chain Strategy & needs for assigned categories / vendors / customers
  • Manage planning, order & replenishment process for categories / vendors/ customers in scope and its performance for further sharing with other stakeholders
  • Follow-up orders placed and flow of orders
  • Collaborate with customers / cross-function departments on forecast.
  • Generate and analysis of accurate information for the collaborative plan.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify the optimal transportation routes
  • Monitoring Return / Destruction / Claims process & status
  • Local custom clearance requirement and transform to vendor
  • Follow-up receiving discrepancy, with corresponding actions for proper settlement in time, including claims with vendors 
  • Analyse current process and identify areas of improvement which could be within and outside your scope.
  • Project management: lead and drive Assigned project within Supply Chain ensuring that the Project is delivered on Time and within cost

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  • Experience in Supply / Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Familiar with demand forecasting and planning tools
  • Degree holder in commercial, supply chain & logistics, with at least 2 years of solid experience in demand planning/ forecasting, preferably in Travel Retail or FMCG
  • Experience in improvement projects on supply chain management with retailing / consumer goods background preferred
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical and project management skills
  • Building Positive Relationships with difference functions
  • Use your talents, influence your community, and make an impact in the ever-changing world of travel retail
  • Good command of spoken and written English and communication/negotiation skills
  • Position is based in HK.
