WPB Non-Financial Risk –WPB Business Risk Management
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our WPB Business Risk Management Department as Manager, WPB Business Risk Management.
Principal responsibilities
Lead the Operational Risk Management Framework related initiatives and ensure are deliverables are in line with Group and Regional Strategy and timeline
Assist in overseeing WPB’s compliance over regulatory policies and Group policy requirements changes through monitoring the implementation progress and tracking the completion
Assist in the delivery of continuous monitoring activities including testing, Quality Assurance and Thematic Reviews
Assist in managing the risk and product governance in WPB, and preparation of the risk and product related committees
Facilitate senior management in decision making through insightful and concise recommendations from risk and control management reports
Connect and work with stakeholders for example, Operational Risks, Business, Global Function Control Owners and Risk Stewards to implement enhancements
Participate in Ad hoc Projects
Requirements
University graduate
Prior risk management experience, ideally from a banking, financial institution
Proficient project management capabilities
Experienced in liaising with internal, external business partners and regulatory bodies
Good command of written and spoken English as well as Cantonese
Banking experience would also be an advantage
High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
