We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Resident Support Engineer to join our customer’s project. The ideal candidate will provide on-site technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of systems by working onsite.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of support activities and resolutions.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in technical support or a related position.

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in server-side support and installation for Secure Office Automation Networking, including but not limited to H3C/Ruijie routers and switches, Fortinet UTM firewalls, MS Active Directory 2016/2019, VMware ESX 6.5/6.7/7.0, Microsoft Office Outlook 2016, and enterprise-grade SAN storage.

  • Holder of at least one of the following IT certifications:

    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

    • Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP)

    • H3C Certified Senior Engineer for Routing & Switching (H3CSE Routing & Switching)

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT security with relevant experience in IT auditing processes. Familiarity with IT policies is essential, and having a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is highly desirable.

  • Knowledgeable in server room administration and website updating processes, with adherence to W3C AA compliance standards.

  • Exhibit strong documentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese.

  • Be willing to work overtime, including non-office hours and/or public holidays, to support events as required.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
