Requirement:

(a) A bachelor's degree from a university of Hong Kong, or equivalent;

(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; (c) At least five years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching in secondary schools/tertiary institutions and school administration/ relevant experience in education sector;

(d) Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English;

(e) Proficient in computer applications, especially in using word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software;

(f) Good communication and interpersonal skills; and

(g) Experience in resource/project management related to educational field or government bureau/department preferred.

Duties:

(a) To assist in implementing and providing professional/ administrative support for Diploma of Applied Education and Associate Degree Programme in the Ethics College at Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution, Pik Uk Prison and Lo Wu Correctional Institution;

(b) To liaise and collaborate with various parties, including the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Hong Kong Metropolitan University Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education, Hong Kong Metropolitan University as well as relevant government departments and organizations on matters related to the implementation of the Diploma of Applied Education and Associate Degree Programme in the Ethics College at Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution, Pik Uk Prison and Lo Wu Correctional Institution;

(c) To assist in managing study records of persons in custody, compiling reports and statistics; preparing documents and papers;

(d) To manage educational resources of the Diploma of Applied Education and Associate Degree Programme to cater for the learning needs of persons in custody in the Ethics College at Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution, Pik Uk Prison and Lo Wu Correctional Institution;

(e) To manage administrative tasks, for example, handling the admission applications and vetting procedures for the Diploma of Applied Education and Associate Degree Programme;
