Currently seeking a talented Java Technical lead to join the team and play a crucial role in solution and technical deisgn on revamping the core financial system.

About the Job

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Design and architect the backend systems using Spring Boot, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Develop and implement Spring Boot-based applications, leveraging the framework's features and capabilities to deliver high-performance, reliable, and secure systems.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures to support the company's various financial products and services.
• Integrate the backend systems with external third-party services, such as payment gateways, credit bureaus, and financial data providers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the FinTech industry, as well as the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Contribute to the company's technology roadmap by identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and innovation.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience in Java technologies and web-based development
• Solid development experience in Spring, Springboot, RESTful APIs and microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions.
• Certification in Java or related technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment.
• Knowledge of various banking applications is an advantage
• Familiar with traditional SDLC and Agile is an advantage
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with offshore teams for system development
• Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage
