Our client, a leading quant trading firm, is looking for a highly skilled SRE to enhance the reliability, stability, and scalability of their trading systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with software engineers to design scalable and reliable trading platforms
• Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability during trading hours
• SQL querying, scripting, network routing and troubleshooting, and OS performance tuning
• Providing initial support and identifying the underlying causes of problems in a dynamic and distributed environment
• Application migrations and infrastructure upgrades

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming and SQL querying
• Experience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting
• Understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and security best practices
• A collaborator, problem-solver, and self-starter with excellent communication skills in English
• Excellent time management skills
