Join the SEA LIFE Trust team and Beluga Whale residents, Little White and Little Grey as an Operations Supervisor at the world’s first Beluga Whale Sanctuary in Iceland!

Your main responsibility in this role will be to execute a successful operations strategy to ensure high visitor satisfaction and meet income targets from ticket sales, retail sales and tour activities. You will monitor the visitor experience and surveys, maintaining quality standards by regularly inspecting the attraction, observing tours and engaging with guests. Additionally, you will oversee the supply and cost-effective purchasing of necessary cleaning products and ensure first aid kits are inspected and restocked weekly.

Maintaining Health & Safety standards is paramount, and you will oversee daily cashing up and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with cash handling protocols. Accurate financial reporting will be part of your role, requiring daily updates and checks of revenue reports. Upholding high standards of guest service, presentation, technical operation, and safety across all operational areas is essential. You will also be fully trained to cover all aspects of both commercial and guest experience operations.

Managing the team involves setting objectives, conducting probationary reviews, appraisals, and training admissions hosts. You will demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for Customer Service, embodying company values at every opportunity. Lastly, you will schedule core teams to ensure proper coverage and staff utilization for effective customer service delivery.

This role is full-time and includes working a regular, fair share of weekends and bank holidays as required as well as providing emergency call out cover on a roster basis.
