My client is a well-established company in the commercial sector looking for an Assistant IT Manager. The ideal candidate will participate in managing Wi-Fi networks and other IT infrastructure components to meet the demands of modern retail environments.

Involve in design and implement high-performance Wi-Fi networks for shopping malls, ensuring optimal coverage, capacity, and reliability for the end-users.
Monitor and maintain other IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and security systems, to support property operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including interference, latency, and connectivity challenges,
Collaborate with internal teams and service providers to procure, install, and maintain Wi-Fi and other IT solutions.
Conduct regular assessments of network and system performance and IT systems, providing recommendations for upgrades or enhancements to meet evolving needs.
skills & experiences required.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with proven track record of Wi-Fi deployment and optimization in shopping mall, retail stores, or similar high-traffic environment.
Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and managing Wi-Fi networks, with expertise in enterprise-grade solutions (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, etc.)
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure domains, including networking (LAN/WAN), server administration, virtualization and back up solutions etc..
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
Proficient in both spoken and written Cantonese and English is a must
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA or ITIL) are highly desirable.
