Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal and external parties to ensure smooth implementation of public relations initiatives that deliver brand and business value of the Bank.

  • Manage the day-to-day proactive and reactive communications tactics related to the Bank’s business, including but not limited to responses to media inquiries and position statements.

  • Contribute significantly to written content, including but not limited to reports, press documents, executive quotes and speeches, interview scripts, bylines and presentation.

  • Update and maintain media contact database; perform daily news monitoring duty on market trend

  • Assist in reputation risk management including designing training material, report writing, risk identification and statistical summaries.

  • Assist in corporate event planning and execution.

  • Contribute to public relations projects at the Bank and business line levels as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or related disciplines.

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in public relations / corporate communications / copy-writing for a sizable organization.

  • Knowledge in banking / financial institution industry will be an advantage.

  • Sound written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.

  • Familiar with social issues and current affairs, with a strong business acumen and analytical skills.

  • Self-driven with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit based on the collaborative culture of the Bank.

  • Attentive to details with a demonstrated ability in meeting deadlines and multitasking.

  • Good computer skills and with proficiency in MS Office and word-processing.

  • Immediately available preferred.

  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
