As our Assistant Digital Learning Designer, you will be part of our high-powered Learning and Development team at Lane Crawford Academy. If you are energetic, visually and tech-savvy with a passion for training, content and designing exciting learning solutions, then this role would be perfect for you!

The Role  

  • Own the end-to-end design, development and deployment of digital learning solutions for front office and back office staff in the organization, including ‘business-as-usual’ projects, ad-hoc projects, legacy course conversions, and long term learning innovation projects.

  • Apply Adult Learning Principles (including Bloom’s Taxonomy, Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction, Mayer’s Principles of Multimedia Learning Design, LX Principles, etc) and various Technology Tools to deliver visually engaging interactive courses, explainer videos, job aids and other digital learning assets.  

  • Collaborate with key department stakeholders to analyse requirements, prepare timelines, manage expectations and ensure project deliverables are effectively developed and deployed.

  • Perform Needs Analysis, Storyboarding, Rapid Prototyping, Solution Development and Deployment independently based on feedback by the Learning & Development team.

  • Act as the point of contact to curate, update and maintain the LMS’s repository of digital learning courses.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 1-2 years relevant professional experience working as an eLearning Instructional Designer. Experience working in an eLearning agency is an added advantage.

  • Degree holder in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Educational Psychology, Education or related field.

  • Tech-savvy with previous experience working with Digital Learning software tools, including but not limited to Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Capcut

  • A proven self-starter with an entrepreneurial growth mindset, with the willingness to take ownership and think out of the box in creative solutioning

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a working knowledge of Written Chinese at minimum; Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.
