Responsibilities

• Lead, implement and maintain a quality assurance system to assure senior management on the effectiveness of the implementation of Release of Concession (ROC) process by the asset maintenance departments and their contractors, incorporated with quality surveillance and appropriate check and balance measures
• Critically assess the ROC process and related activities to ensure they are implemented in a controlled and effective manner and in compliance with applicable statutory and operational requirements
• Develop and maintain quality surveillance programme with effective planning, coordination, implementation, and reporting
• Analyse surveillance findings for recommendation of improvement actions with due consideration of the use of suitable quality assurance tools and techniques
• Ensure and maintain the performance standards of the quality surveillance
• Develop and train the quality assurance team on knowledge of quality assurance and enhance the competence in quality surveillance
• Maintain effective communication with asset maintenance departments in striving for improvement on quality assurance matters

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a recognized professional qualification in a relevant discipline
• A minimum 12 years’ relevant working experience in quality assurance or asset management of a high reliability organisation, preferably gained in transportation industry with at least 5 years at managerial level.
• Membership of a professional institution or registered status of relevant discipline
• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and reporting writing skills
