General Compliance Manager, Chinese Bank

We are hiring a General Compliance Manager for a stable Chinese Bank. They are currently searching for committed talents to support their compliance team in Hong Kong.



Your new role

• Provide compliance and regulatory advisory services to businesses regarding rules and standards, proper codes of conduct, and doing the right thing.
  
• Liaise with local regulators and handle regulatory enquiries, inspections, questionnaires, incident reporting, surveys and other ad hoc requests;
  
• Provide advisory on new product launches or revamps, relevant sales and marketing materials, and training materials.
  
• Provide advisory to business and operational units on internal control requirements
• Review compliance practices, regulations, and guidelines to confirm that these standards are adequate and fit for intended use, and to suggest changes as needed.
  
• Analyse and conduct gap analysis in relation to internal standards and policies
  
• Provide compliance training to staff.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree holder
  
• Around 4-5+ years of Compliance experience in Banking.
  
• Well-versed in HKMA, SFC and other banking-related legislation and guidelines
• Experience of liaising with regulatory bodies.
