Role Purpose:

As an assistant logistics officer, closely monitor and control project timelines, budgets, and quality standards and ensure adherence to the predefined targets. Work closely in parallel with operations team, administration team on all event logistics arrangement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for manpower management and daily work schedule arrangement of operation team, assist the team in setting directions and establishing a clear SOP in the department.

  • Collaborate closely with operations team to understand the user requirements (both operational and technical) and translate them into project scopes/ schedules/ strategy/ action plan and technical specifications

  • Consolidate and prepare information for the optimization of process flow, operation plan, resource input, on-site management, quality improvement, and implementation of cost control

  • Arrange and manage regular meetings for the department to report the updated statuses of and new issues with the project to the senior management, operations team, and stakeholders. Review and discuss the progress, budget, quality, site safety, resources, etc. Assess potential risks and develop strategies to control/ mitigate them.

  • Oversee and manage contractors in order to keep track of the progress. Facilitate effective communication and coordinate with contractors/ sub-contractors to ensure the smoothness of daily site works. Proactively identify potential risks of delay/ over-budget/ quality issues.

  • Handle ad hoc projects as assigned

 

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Warehouse Management/ Industrial Engineering or related disciplines

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in warehouse/ operation management Central Hub / Express or logistics industry is preferred

  • Familiar with operation management requirements, standardized operations, and able to implement various system processes according to the needs of various functional departments

  • Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Strong data analysis and communication skills

  • Basic understanding on Industrial Engineering

  • VMS, SAP or TMS System knowledge will be an advantage

  • Innovative, attention to detail, strong commitment at work and able to work under pressure

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
