Salary: HK$64,780 per month
Entry Requirements:Candidates should have –
(a) a bachelor degree from university in Hong Kong, or equivalent;
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent [See Note below];
(c) at least eight years of full-time working experience after obtaining the degree, including at least six years of post-degree full-time experience in work related to general administration or management work (with at least three years of experience at managerial level preferred). Relevant work experience in public relations work in the Government or public bodies is an advantage;
(d) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese as well as a good mastery of Putonghua; and
(e) knowledge of common office applications including English and Chinese Word Processing, Excel and Powerpoint.
Note: “Grade C” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Duties:Contract Senior Executive Assistant (Youth Development) is mainly deployed:
(a) to assist in the formulation of the strategy, execution and implementation of CAD’s youth development programme;
(b) to assist in the planning, management and providing support to CAD’s Youth in Aviation Programme, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Civil Aviation Youth Exchange Programme jointly organized by the CAD and the Central and Southern Regional Administration of the Civil Aviation Administration of China and other youth activities organized by CAD;
(c) to assist in providing administrative and logistics support to events, meetings and visits;
(d) to assist in the co-ordination and reaching out to various stake-holders in promoting interests and knowledge of aviation to young people;
(e) to perform tour guide duties in conducting guided tours for the public in visiting the CAD Aviation Education Path; and
(f) to assist in preparing bilingual press releases and publicity materials in relation to youth activities organized by CAD.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for one year. Renewal of contract will be subject to service need and the performance and conduct of the candidate.
Fringe Benefits An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted if the contract is completed with satisfactory performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, will be the sum which, when added to the Government’s contribution to the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, equals to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. 14 days’ annual leave (in a 12-month period) and full pay sickness allowance, whereas rest days, statutory holidays, maternity/paternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance.
