More About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant to join our dynamic Finance Communications team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients in the financial sector, developing and executing impactful PR strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the media landscape in Hong Kong and the broader region, excellent communication skills, and a passion for finance.

What You'll Do

• Understand media dynamics in Hong Kong and the broader region, and generate insightful media reports for clients, including media monitoring and analysis.
• Engage in various public relations tasks, including strategic management of media relations, coordination of one-on-one interviews, and execution of press conferences.
• Create and distribute press releases and other media materials on behalf of clients in both Chinese and English.
• Assist in event planning and organization, providing logistical support to ensure smooth execution.
• Develop skills in managing client relationships independently, gaining an understanding of the client's industry, strategic objectives, and organizational structure.
• Proactively share insights and ideas to address client needs within the team.

Experience That Contributes To Success

• Degree holder in Language and Translation, Communications, Journalism, Finance, Business or relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 4-6 years of financial media experience, PR or agency experience will be a plus.
• Strong command of written and verbal communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Staying informed on current affairs and business news within Hong Kong and the Greater China region.
• A genuine team player and self-starter with good work ethics.
• Highly motivated and result-oriented with sound problem solving skills.
