Position Summary
The department of Business Development is responsible for business development in the Asia Pacific region, managing relations with financial regulators and industry associations, promoting the investment products and strategies managed by Conning as well as by Generali Investment Holdings (GIH) affiliates to institutional and private wealth investors. The asset class of these investment strategies include public asset (equities, fixed income, multi-asset) and alternative asset (real estate debt/equity, infrastructure debt/equity, bank loan/CLOs, hedge fund etc.)
Key Responsibilities Include
- Work with the sales team and marketing team to complete the end-to-end sales of asset management and risk solutions products to institutional prospects
- Handle queries from prospects and clients
- Prepare presentation materials, product proposals and RFPs
- Collaborate and Coordinate with internal stakeholders to achieve the sales target

- Actuarial/Mathematics/Finance related educational background preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to manage workload and deadlines
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-oriented with strong service mindset and ability to understand & capture client needs
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary to meet objectives
- With Entrepreneurial spirit
- Fluency in Mandarin and English and Cantonese preferred.
- 10-15 years’ experience in financial industry
