Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Cash and Trade Product Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and in-depth product knowledge in cash and trade services tailored for various segments in wholesale banking. This role is pivotal in driving product performance and delivering innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the development and execution of cash and trade product strategies across different wholesale banking segments, defining, and communicating clear value propositions.
  • Analyse product performance metrics to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and utilize data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards by collaborating with legal, compliance, risk, IT, and operations teams (including payment operations and trade operations).
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and positioning.
  • Engage with clients to understand their cash and trade needs, translating those needs into actionable product features while ensuring exceptional client experiences throughout the product lifecycle.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cash management, trade finance, or related financial services, specifically within wholesale banking.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of building relationships with legal, compliance, risk, IT, and operations teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of cash and trade products, regulatory requirements, and market trends relevant to wholesale banking.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, ability to innovate and develop new products
  • Comfortable dealing with multiple parties, internal and external
  • Sound understanding of regulatory environment and ability to convert requirements into product opportunities
  • Keen interest and understanding of developing trends and threats to the traditional business
  • Strong analytical mind, able to exercise sound judgment based on strong logic and compelling arguments, also, execute, establish plans and processes
