Responsible to assist supervisors to monitor the Bank’s Health, Safety and Workplace Wellness (HSW) issues and ensuring the daily operations are in accordance with the statutory requirements and the Bank’s standard procedures.
Be the subject matter expert of Corporate Safety and Workplace Wellness for the Bank Group
Manage and deliver HSW programs, update the Bank’s HSW manuals and/or guidelines
Keep track record of all HSW related Registers
Conduct HSW assessments, inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory, permit and company requirement
Provide employees, facility management and division management with HSW related guidance, regulatory advice and training
Serve as a Group-wide HSW compliance program owner to interpret HSW regulations and to develop Group-wide standards, procedures or programs and ensure compliance across all sites
Monitor the operations of branch and department to ensure staff have strictly followed the HSW requirements
Arrange HSW trainings for bank staff with Training & Development Department
Work with stakeholders to promote workplace wellness for the Bank Group, from strategising to implementation
Assist supervisors to review operations procedures with reference to HSW polices and rules
Requirements
University graduate, preferably major in Health and Safety, Public Health, Sustainability Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or equivalent;
5+ years’ working experience in sizeable corporations, contracting or consulting firms. Experience in Occupational Health & Safety (OSH) management and workplace wellness preferred;
Sound knowledge OSH, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001;
Must be a Registered Safety Officer (Registered Safety Auditor qualification is an advantage);
Hands-on experience in delivering HSW initiatives / projects
Proactive, passionate in health, safety and workplace wellness and open to challenge
Sound knowledge of facility management / property management and able to work with stakeholders to ensure excellent facility management services provided with best-in-class HSW standards;
Hands-on, flexible, excellent prioritisation skills and possessing all rounded skillsets, from strategising to implementations
Good understanding of relevant regulations, policies, procedures, practices and rules;
Good PC skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Well-presented and solid communication skills (written and spoken Chinese and English)
