Job Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain transport networks, international leased lines, and international Ethernet.
• Support routine transport network troubleshooting and planned maintenance.
• Coordinate and implement maintenance operations related to the transport network, including planning and restoration of ad hoc services.
• Provide technical and service support to the Network Monitoring Center.
• Be on-call during non-office hours as required.
• Analyze and optimize the company’s transmission network.
• Support the configuration team and problem-solving team in analyzing difficulties and issues.
• Provide network analysis technical services to customers, such as performance evaluation, security analysis, and failure analysis.
• Manage and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality performance and efficient operating costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Communications, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in network and equipment maintenance in the transmission field.
• Hands-on experience using test instrumentation and network monitoring systems.
• Preferred experience working with transmission equipment vendors.
• Two or more years of experience managing a team of transmission professionals preferred.
• Familiarity with SDH, OTN, and DWDM equipment configuration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Huawei equipment and other related products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, including written and verbal proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
