What will you do?

You will supervise and organize operations to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and designated back-of-house spaces. You will be our:

• To initiate and maintain effective communication within the Housekeeping Department and with the other Department, to ensure accurate room status and area needed repair
• Control and analyses, on an on-going basis, departmental cost to ensure performance against guests.
• Maintain adequate staff for house occupancy and control labour cost relative to such occupancy
• Plan and organize housekeeping operations to maximizes department performance with high productivity
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standard
• Monitors and controls inventions for operating equipment, linen and uniforms to ensure proper par stock are maintained and cost are controlled.
• Co-ordinate and oversee all daily housekeeping functions
• Schedule routine inspection on guest rooms and public areas to ensure furniture, fixture and equipment are clean and in good order

What do we seek in you?

• Diploma or above in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of premium hotel experience in Housekeeping at a supervisory level
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Familiar with cleaning chemicals and sanitation standards
• Good command of spoken & written Cantonese, Mandarin and English, plus to know other languages.
• Effective leader, problem solver and team player with exceptional conflict resolution, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Experience in handling various systems including procurement, rostering, and casual labour systems and well versed in computer skills.
