• We are looking for QUALITY MANAGER - with details as follows :

THE JOB :

• To ensure and maintain company-wide quality standards in all aspects of manufacturing, including raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• To develop techniques and establish procedures for testing, inspecting, and product introduction.
• Establish and monitor quality standards.
• Train internal, factory staff and outside contractors in the inspection process and quality standards of products flowing into finished goods.
• Establish standards for quality control of incoming raw materials, and coordinate compliance of these standards with Purchasing and Product Development.
• Implement inspection procedures and establish record-keeping systems.
• Set up system to ensure QC inspections and reporting are carried out to company requirements at first article, in line and finished goods and packing stages of production.
• Set up system to manage regular scheduled suppliers and in-house QC staff training.
• Factory Evaluation : review the performance of the factory production. Conduct Factory Audit process and annual factory scorecard.
• In coordination with Product Development, direct and ensure smooth transition of new products and product changes from design to production, monitoring the initial production runs to ensure integrity of operations lists and quality standards.
• In conjunction with Production Manager manage the critical path of all orders; ensuring a smooth progression from initial sampling through to bulk.
• Formalize and manage all component / product test plans and reporting to ensure performance requirements are met or exceeded.
• Advise and manage ongoing improvement of company-wide QA function.
• Manage restricted substance non-compliance with in-house and external parties to ensure components and products are delivered to requirements.
• Responsible for overseeing all audits and QA specifications for raw materials, Asian sourcing, shipping specifications, finished goods and other applicable QA standards.
• Execute periodic factory audits with existing and new component and finished goods suppliers and provide audit reports to all related departments and senior management.
• 5+ years as a QA Manager for established brand(s) inclusive of BAGS preferably including technical bag and travel accessories
• Strong Technical Skills & Extensive experience in managing and executing QA documentation and procedures to ISO requirements.
• Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• 30% time travelling : mainly to China, occasionally to Vietnam & Cambodia
• 5 days work , flexible working hours
• Annual leave : 15 days
