The jobholder will be responsible for the I.T operations and technical support. Major job duties will include:

• Tasked with devising system architecture and solutions that align with business imperatives and fiscal prudence.
• Ensure optimal performance and consistent availability of system infrastructure.
• Craft a blueprint for infrastructure development, encompassing long-term visions and capacity planning. Advocate for infrastructure investments to cater to anticipated system demands and organizational objectives.
• Collaborate intimately with the application division on system examinations, configurations, and the transition of new servers, among other tasks.
• Investigate, orchestrate, and oversee projects focused on system enhancements and amalgamations.
• Address hardware and software advancements, substitutions, and acquisitions.
• Direct technical support cadre to furnish technical and helpdesk assistance for our different internal offices, entailing system establishment, data preservation, fault analysis, and the governance of an extensive server and network infrastructure.
• Conduct audits pertaining to I.T security, support procedures, and asset stewardship.
• Remain accessible for urgent production issues and undertake rotational duties as necessitated.

The Person:

• Possesses a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in the design and management of extensive infrastructure and applications.
• Well-versed in multi-layered application settings, including web, application, and database linkages, as well as systems with high availability.
• Proven expertise in Cisco networking equipment, including switches, routers, IPS/IDS, firewalls, load balancers, along with network surveillance and diagnostic skills.
• Familiar with the intricacies of routing and switching technologies, as well as related protocols.
• Comprehensive experience with Microsoft operating systems, Linux, cloud technologies, and I.T security measures.
• Experienced in supervising vendors for I.T operations, encompassing change, incident, and problem management.
• Acquaintance with VMware vSphere, database replication tools, and managing resources across multiple countries is beneficial.
• Experience in overseeing MetaQuotes trading system is considered a plus.
• Capable of mature decision-making, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and working autonomously under duress.
• Exhibits strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
