Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Conference and Program Team to ensure the timelines for speaker administration and logistics are met
  • Attend relevant team meetings to understand the event requirements, especially those specific to conference program, scheduling and speaker management
  • Assist in coordination of all operational aspects for speaker logistics, including assistance with speaker travel/hotel bookings and budgeting
  • Update event website with conference agenda and speaker profile information efficiently and accurately
  • Liaise directly and indirectly with speakers and respond to any speaker related queries where applicable.
  • Manage and update speaker lists and conference documentation, including speaker registration and ticketing arrangements
  • Assist Conference and Program Team with Program run sheet (speaker session requirements, verifying speakers, quality checking of all marketing materials)
  • Provide hands-on onsite support and assist in the delivery of conference program whilst at in-person event. This will require travel to Sydney, Australia in the month of October for up to one week
  • Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary degree educated (or similar professional qualification) – bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field preferred
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with the company and external parties
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and to tough deadlines, including delivery of in-person event
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be proficient in using different CRM, web-based platforms, and Microsoft Office applications to accomplish tasks
  • Must be able to work flexible hours when required
  • Logical thinker, process driven, team player, self-motivated, mature, pleasant and proactive
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
