Internal Title: Settlement Trainee

Department: Wealth Management (Settlements)

Part-time: (2+ days/week): Immediate - May 31, 2025

Full-time: June – August 2025

Full-time Interview Period: April – May 2025

As a Settlement Trainee , you will gain hands-on experience in securities settlement operations, from payment processing to system testing, while developing critical skills for a finance career.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in daily settlement tasks, such as payment matching;

• Handle clients deposits & withdrawals;

• Support stock operations, including corporate actions and transfers;

• Participate in system development projects, including testing and migration;

• Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Undergraduates, preferably year 2 or above students majoring in a business-related discipline;

• Basic knowledge of financial products and securities settlement is a plus;

• Excellent in Excel and knowledge of SQL is a plus;

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment;

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;

• Proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken);

• Available to work at least 2 days per week is a must (Part-time).
