A renowned China-based Bank in Hong Kong is looking for a high-caliber Information Technology Manager in Security Management.

Responsibilities:

• Assess information security risks for new projects and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Design and implement a cyber defense plan that aligns with organizational goals and complies with the requirements set forth by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).

• Oversee daily information security operations and maintenance, which include security event monitoring, designing security detection rules, managing security incidents, conducting regular progress reports, and handling account and security vulnerability management, as well as penetration testing and other information security tasks.

• Coordinate both internal and external audits related to information security materials.

• Initiate and conduct regular information security health checks and cybersecurity drills to ensure preparedness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or related disciplines.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, IT, or information security, with direct hands-on experience operating security tools and establishing security rules.

• Must hold information security professional qualifications recognized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CSX-S, CSX-E, CCSP, CRT, CCT Infra, CCT Web App, CCSAS, or CCSAM.

• Experience in drafting policies, procedures, and standards for information system security or technology risk management.

• Proven working experience in participating in simulated cyber attack drills as a member of either the red or blue team, including hands-on experience with various attack techniques such as SQL injection, buffer overflow, cross-site scripting, sniffing, antivirus trojan detection bypass, privilege escalation, DDoS attacks, lateral penetration, and vulnerability exploitation.
