Senior Management Role (Legal & Regulatory Sector)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to support the Secretary General and senior leadership in managing daily operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the effective governance of the organization. This role requires strong legal expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to liaise with various stakeholders while upholding professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior leadership and the Secretary General in overseeing the organization's daily operations and administration.

  • Represent the organization at public events, forums, and conferences.

  • Leverage technology to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

  • Assist in financial management, budgeting, and overall governance of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 18 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions.

  • Extensive knowledge of the global legal landscape, regulatory frameworks, and professional ethics in Hong Kong.

  • Proven leadership and senior management experience, preferably in professional associations, regulatory bodies, or legal institutions.

  • Familiarity with professional organizations, government agencies, and legal policy development.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin preferred).

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and high-level committees and projects under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Event management experience.

  • Customer service orientation.

  • Proficiency in project management and strategic planning.

  • Innovative approach to implementing new technologies to improve processes.

  • Experience in financial management and budgeting.

  • Background in the HKSAR government sector will be considered an advantage.
