As a Junior Developer, you will:

• Contribute to the development of applications and tools that support front office trading.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing our proprietary algorithmic trading engine, exchange connectivity, and peripheral applications.
• Diagnose production issues, determine root causes, and suggest solutions.
• Operate within an international team of professionals in an agile and autonomous setting.
• Partner with senior colleagues to investigate the latest technologies and industry best practices. When suitable, design and implement changes to enhance our system's capabilities, reduce latency, and boost performance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure smooth global operations around the clock.

Required Skillset

• You possess a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You write clean, efficient code in Python. Experience with Rust, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java) is advantageous.
• You have a keen interest in trading, financial markets, and blockchain technologies.
• You take responsibility for the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of your deliverables.
• You enjoy solving complex problems with elegant solutions.
• You have experience with multithreading, web protocols (e.g., WebSocket, RESTful), or high throughput/low latency design (a plus).
• You understand the dynamic nature of the cryptocurrency industry and are willing to work beyond the traditional 9-6 schedule.
