Our client is a leading regulatory body established to oversee and enhance the insurance sector's integrity and efficiency across Hong Kong. They are seeking a Network Security Analyst to join their dynamic team.

The Role

Network Monitoring:

• Continuously monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential security breaches.
• Utilize security tools to analyze logs and alerts from firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices.

Incident Response:

• Investigate security incidents and provide timely responses to mitigate risks.
• Document security incidents, including the nature of the incident and the response steps taken.

Security Assessment:

• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans on network infrastructure.
• Analyze and report on vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for remediation.

Policy Development:

• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Ensure that security policies are enforced and updated as necessary.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with IT teams to ensure best practices in security are implemented during network upgrades and deployments.
• Collaborate with external security vendors and law enforcement as necessary.

Reporting:

• Generate regular security reports for management and identify trends in security incidents.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

The Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network security, information security, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and network security technologies.
• Router (Cisco), Switch (Cisco), Firewall Review experience is a must
• Familiarity with WAF (Cloudflare, F5), FW (PA, Forti, Cisco), NAC, ZeroTrust, Aruba Wi-Fi is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in Cantonese
