About this role

Currently we are looking for a highly experienced design management professional as a Deputy Director who has acquired hands-on experiences in architectural design and interior design to lead the development team for project design from concept to handover.

Ideal candidate should be expertise in Project & Design Management. You will be responsible for managing development projects in from conceptual design stage to project completion, including the coordination with project team, integration of project design planning, feasibility studies, interior fitting-out, architectural & schematic design, detailed design, design development, design review, selection of suitable building materials, solving design problems by providing alternative design solutions and managing external design consultants & contractors and moreover ensure projects will be delivered within quality, schedule and budget.

Requirement:

• Degree in Architecture or related background in real estate;
• At least 25 years working in renowned design firms & preferably with past experiences in client-side;
• Registered Architect with HKIA/ RIBA or equivalent;
• Experienced in leading project design from start to completion and managing in-house design team & external design consultants and renowned international designers for mixed-use complex with luxury hotels as well as possess good design aesthetics.
• Strong on-site experiences to manage site team and contractors to ensure the construction quality align with the design intent.
• Familiar with full-spectrum design management and construction monitoring, project delivery and well coordinate with design consultants, main contractors and government officials;
• Energetic, highly motivated, strive for excellence and high level of accountability;
• Able to translate design intent into practical build with design excellence;
• Good command in both written and spoken English;
